What you do
Lumi is a little light, and this is her world. It’s made of stickers, and everyone in it is fast asleep.
Peel a sticker from the tray, stick it where its outline glows, and do the next. When the room is full, night falls: tap the lamps, and the room wakes up. The baker takes the buns out, the cat stretches, the music box starts to play. Then the next room is waiting.
Then play pretend
Every room you finish has people and pets in it, and they come home with you. Bring them into your own houses, or make your own, and play house: carry them from room to room, sit them on the sofa, tuck them into bed, run a bath, cook soup, feed the cat.
Hand someone a cup and they drink; pop a crown on their head. Tap a face for a new one: laughing, shy, sleepy, silly, a wink. Walk somebody to the wardrobe and dress them up, then keep the outfit for later. No reading needed: a little drawn hand shows what to try next.

The families, friends, cats and dogs of all 32 places, eight to a room.
Make somebody
A person, a cat or a dog from pictures: hair, clothes, glasses, a hat, pajamas, a dinosaur costume. Put them into families.
Dress up
Walk someone to a wardrobe or a dressing-up box and change their clothes a piece at a time; keep up to twelve outfits to put on anyone.
Play together
Up to four iPhones or iPads nearby in one house, everyone in any room at once.

The places
320 rooms in thirty-two places, along a road of six neighborhoods, each opened by a family’s home: from the House and the Village to Mermaid Reef, Star Station, the Palace and the Dollhouse. Someone lives in every room, and every place has a bathroom.
Houses of your own
Build up to six houses on your street and fill their rooms with any sticker you’ve collected. Turn things around, change the floors and wallpaper, set the whole street in a cherry orchard or a night garden, undo what you don’t like. Lumi gives each room up to three hearts. Then move in: everyone you’ve met can live there.

Sparks are the one currency. You earn them by playing and spend them on new places, hats, floors, wallpapers and backdrops. Everything in the game can be earned by playing. For anyone who would rather not wait, the Shop sells jars of sparks, and Lifetime access: every place and room, now and the ones still to come, and all your own houses, rooms, people and pets, bought once and shared with your Apple family. Buying goes through the App Store’s own confirmation, Ask to Buy works as usual, and nothing in the game pushes anyone to buy.
Your world is saved in your own iCloud, so it follows you from the iPhone to the iPad, and bought sparks survive the game being deleted. Settings has a page for grown-ups that says what has been bought and where sparks went, and the one switch for the game’s anonymous play counts.
