What you do
Lumi is a little light, and this is her world. It’s made of stickers, and everyone in it is fast asleep.
Peel a sticker from the tray, stick it where its outline glows, and do the next. When the room is full, night falls: tap the lamps, and the room wakes up. The baker takes the buns out, the cat stretches, the music box starts to play. Then Lumi wraps up the next room for you.
What’s inside
The places
260 rooms in twenty-six places, from the House and the Village to Mermaid Reef, Star Station, the Palace and the Doll’s House. Someone lives in every room, and every place has a bathroom.
Houses of your own
Build up to six houses on your street and fill their rooms with any sticker you’ve collected. Turn things round, change the floors and wallpaper, undo what you don’t like. Lumi gives each room up to three hearts.
Every day
A gift from Lumi, three little errands, a daily challenge, and a house guest with a wish.
Made entirely by code
There is not one picture or sound file in the game: every room, sticker, person, song and sound is drawn and played live.
Also inside
- Two looks: Pastel, a kawaii sticker sheet, and Print, a bold risograph.
- A sticker album, shiny stickers, stamps, stars and levels.
- Find it!, a seek-and-find.
- Photo mode and a scrapbook.
- Day and night.
- Music that grows as a room fills.
For grown-ups
No ads. No account. No tracking. No third-party code.
Sparks are the one currency. You earn them by playing and spend them on new places, extra rooms, hats, floors and wallpapers. Everything in the game can be earned by playing. The Shop also sells jars of sparks for anyone who would rather not wait; buying goes through the App Store’s own confirmation, and Ask to Buy works as usual.
Your world is saved in your own iCloud, so it follows you from the iPhone to the iPad, and bought sparks survive the game being deleted. Settings has a page for grown-ups that says what has been bought and where sparks went, and the one switch for the game’s anonymous play counts.
